 One of the most inspirational and challenging golf experiences is a round at Northwood Golf Course, which plays through a mature redwood grove along the Russian River in Northern California. It was designed in 1928 for the Bohemian Club  by famed golf course architect Alister MacKenzie, who also created Augusta National and Cypress Point.
